Criminal activity is noticeably on the rise within the province and most of the crime happening is in the twin cities.
There have been multiple armed robberies, stabbings, and other assault type crimes.
This past summer, 30-year-old Terry John Griffin had been murdered at a home on Salter Place.
Throughout the nearby area there a number of vehicles that have decals attached stating ‘God’s Gangster.’
The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary (RNC) heavily patrol the area giving most attention to Forbes Street, Anspach Street, Salter Place, James Lane, and James Place.
The troubled area is common to crime on a regular basis, so common, the RNC have traffic patrol service cruisers patrolling the entire area including Blackmarsh Road, Hamlyn Road Extension where the convivence store ‘Spice X’ is located and is known to be held up by known to police drug addicted criminals.
During the journalistic undercover investigation, there is a group operating in the twin cities known as ‘God’s Gangsters.’
The leader of ‘God’s Gangsters’ is a convicted criminal and resides in the areas under heavy RNC patrols.
The man is well-known to police Canada wide and he has been known to be apart of another chapter of a criminal organization located in Quebec.
